2025 – Upcoming Price Increases

Home | News & Updates | Company Latest | 2025 – Upcoming Price Increases

Both in our business and personal lives, it has become normal for businesses to periodically increase pricing to reflect inflation and/or increased costs or an enhancement to a product provided.

Typically, these increases are not onerous and are generally accepted as ‘the norm’. For this reason, until recently, we have historically not formally communicated price increases to our clients unless we view them as outside the norm. However, to assist our clients with their own budgeting and planning, we have now changed this policy to ensure all price increases are advised as early as possible.

In the last few months, we have received communication from Sage, Sicon and Draycir regarding price increases for 2025 which will affect almost all of our clients. Please continue reading for more information on these 2025 price increases.

Why is Sage 200 Pricing increasing?

To continue delivering the features and improvements your business relies on, Sage are making some significant investments in research and development for Sage 200. These efforts will enable Sage to introduce innovations such as:

  • AR automation
  • Sage Network a new way to connect to Sage 200 for customers, suppliers, banks & 3rd party software, launched in V2024 R2.
  • Browser-based Web Screens to provide flexibility beyond the desktop.
  • E-invoicing, AP automation and Sage Copilot with AI-driven tools like Outlier Detection.

In the New Year, Sage will also unveil exciting updates on new ways to deliver Sage 200 in the cloud, enhancing accessibility and functionality alongside specific work targeted to take the product to a 64 bit environment within the next 12 months.

Core Price Increase Details

From 1st February 2025Sage 200  subscription rate plans will increase by approximately 7%. Sage CRM rate plans will increase by approximately 5%. Sage Intacct rate plans will also increase by approximately 7% from 1st January (some exclusions will apply, please speak to your account manager for more information). Changes will take effect on renewal invoices from 1st February 2024 or their next renewal term following that date.

Draycir has also announced a 5% price increase which will be in place from 1st April 2025. This will affect all pricing, including new sales, renewals and subscriptions.

Finally, Sicon announced that from 1st April 2025 they will be increasing their prices by approximately 7% in line with Sage. Like Draycir, this will apply to new sales, renewals and subscriptions (increase to apply after 12 months on previous pricing).

Price Increase of legacy ‘SALP’ contract elements

In addition to price increases for subscriptions, Sage have announced some specific pricing changes for clients who have legacy “SALP” migrated elements to their contract.

The increases to this element of your contract will vary between clients and are subjective to multiple factors such as the timing of the original purchase, the make up of the original licence and the amount and timing of any additional increments purchased.

PKF Smith Cooper Support Pricing & our Client Commitment

Last year, from 1st April 2024, we increased our support rates (by 5%) for the first time in five years.

Again, we at Smith Cooper, like any Sage business partner, have no control over the pricing policy of our suppliers. However, we do have control over our own fees. Thus, in light of the increases stated above, we have made the decision to freeze our own support rates this year in order to assist our valued customers.

To be clear, your support will increase inline as normal should you buy additional software licences. However, we will not increase our current support rates in 2025.

We hope this information makes sense and is helpful to you. However, if you require any further help or information regarding these upcoming price increases please don’t hesitate to contact your Account Manager or you can email our central team via [email protected].
