Vanessa Watson
Account Management Team Leader
How did your journey with us start?
I officially joined PKF SCS in July 2021, following the acquisition of Price Bailey Business Systems. With over 25 years of experience in the Sage industry, my journey began in 1997 providing technical support for Sage 50 Payroll and Accounts. Since then, I’ve developed broad expertise across the Sage product suite and built strong, long-standing relationships within the Sage community.
My connection with PKF SCS dates back over 15 years, when I first worked with Richard Brewster as his Sage account manager. I’ve also had the pleasure of working with Chris Smith in his previous roles prior to joining PKF SCS, as well as with Richard Torr. Over the years, I’ve watched PKF SCS grow into one of the UK’s leading Sage Business Partners, and I’m proud to now be part of that continued success.
What is your role and what does your day-to-day look like?
In my day-to-day role, I lead the Account Management team at PKF SCS, ensuring that customers receive the highest level of service and support. I work closely with clients to understand their needs, identify opportunities, and recommend the most effective Sage software solutions. A key part of my role involves mentoring and supporting the account management team, helping them to build strong client relationships while driving customer satisfaction across the business. I also collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth project delivery and continuous improvement in customer service standards.
What’s your favourite PKF SCS memory?
I don’t think I can pick just one favourite memory from my time at PKF SCS — the last four years have been full of challenges, and I thrive on those! I’ve always felt supported by the whole team, which makes such a difference. And of course, team nights out are always a highlight, they’re a great chance to catch up with colleagues from all over the country.
What are you most excited about in our future?
Continuing to watch the company grow and go from strength to strength.
