Transitioning to Cim 200 Manufacturing
Cim 200 Manufacturing emulates the look, feel and processing of Sage 200 Manufacturing to facilitate an easy transition between the two solutions. Additionally, Cim 200 Manufacturing has enhanced functionalities which are beneficial for manufacturing businesses.
The Cim solution contains a planning and works order section, as it does in Sage 200 Manufacturing. Your works orders are processed the same way, requiring the works order to be allocated, issued, completed and closed.
The works order list in Cim 200 Manufacturing looks similar to the list in Sage Manufacturing, with processing action actions across the top of the list.

The planning module also works in likeness to Sage 200 Manufacturing, requiring you to run MPS and MRP to read the demand, and return lists relating to replenishment, exclusions and recommendations.
Overall, the transition to Cim 200 Manufacturing is an easy process for experienced Sage users. Additional training would focus mostly on the new features and product enhancements.
