PKF Smith Cooper Systems (PKF SCS), an award-winning Sage provider and division of the PKF Smith Cooper group, have released details of their most successful year yet.
Named Sicon’s Partner of the year FY25, PKF Smith Cooper Systems has achieved a record-breaking turnover of £10 million.
The business has gone from strength to strength in the last fiscal year, twice breaking the record for the largest single deal in the company’s history in one year, investing in their Newcastle location and achieving 45% growth in the Sage Intacct division; which broke £1million turnover in its own right.

PKF Smith Cooper Systems continues to press forward with growth outside of the books; welcoming over 60 new name clients to the business and maintaining their 97% average customer retention rate over the last year. In addition to the new clients, PKF SCS has grown the team by 9 new hires across the business.
As well as their commercial success, the company have also been busy in other areas of the business, making significant investment into marketing, customer experience and community outreach.

This year saw PKF SCS continue to host their successful Sage Symposium, a business event which gathered industry leaders and experts for an unforgettable day at the Select Car Leasing Stadium. They also launched an updated, modern, user-centric website and industry leading customer portal, marking the start of a new era for the business.
Looking forward and recognising their growth, PKF Smith Cooper System is taking an inward view and dedicating time and resources to evaluate their internal teams and processes. Committed to maintaining their core values and ethos, they are taking this opportunity to launch a “Customer Experience” survey to gather candid and unfiltered feedback from their customers to improve and evaluate in line with expectations. Later in the year will come the launch of their Values booklet to formalise and clearly outline their ethics for staff, customers and prospective customers.
Aside from commercial success, a key part of the company’s ethos is charity work in all its forms, fundraising, volunteering or donating.
Over the Easter period, PKF Smith Cooper Systems donated 100 Easter eggs, tea, coffee and rice pudding to Derby Food 4 Thought Alliance (DF4TA); a charity they have previously worked with.

Managing Director at PKF Smith Cooper Systems, Chris Smith, commented: “We are absolutely delighted and very proud of our company’s performance and continued development this year. To achieve organic, double-digit, growth in the highly competitive and ever-changing market we operate in, is an outstanding testament to the hard work of our team and a great reward for our consistent quest for improvement. To now be a £10m business is amazing and we are in great shape to go again this year”
