March 8th marks International Women’s Day, a day dedicated to empowering and recognising women’s achievements.
International Women’s Day serves as an opportunity to acknowledge all of the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements made by women, as well as to raise awareness around gender equality.

The year’s theme is ‘Give to Gain’ and aims to encourage a mindset of generosity and collaboration. When people, organisations and communities give generously, opportunities for women increase. Whether it’s through improving education, visibility, infrastructure, resources, training or time, contributing to women’s advancement helps create a more supportive and interconnected world.
Here at PKF Smith Cooper Systems, we’re proud to have 27 talented women working across every area of our business, including support, marketing, client services, sales, finance, and project services!
Among our brilliant team, we have 9 women in Manager or Team Leader roles, and 1 female in a Director position.

We asked our Client Services Director, Victoria Riley, to share what International Women’s Day means to her:
“International Women’s Day means a lot to me because it celebrates the achievements of women and reinforces the importance of equal opportunity. ‘Give to Gain’ reflects the culture at PKF SCS — a place where I’ve been supported to grow from an entry-level trainee support role to Client Services Director. This support is accessible to everyone, no matter their background.”
