Meet our new team member, Chris Coates
Before joining us at PKF SCS, Chris spent 12 years working at various Sage Business Partners and prior to that, he worked at Sage supporting Sage 50 customers.
His experience spans across Cellular Solutions, The Northern Path, Onesys, Sicon and Eureka, so Chris brings with him a deep understanding of Sage and its add-on products.
His favourite aspect of working in support is problem solving, as he finds it satisfying to resolve customer issues.
In terms of working with Sage 50 and Sage 200, Chris really enjoys report designs, as it was one of the first things he learnt to do at Sage and it has always stuck with him.
Outside of work, you’ll find Chris spending time with his kids, partner and his retired racing greyhound, Heron. Chris and his daughter compete at national level in the American game ‘Cornhole’ and when he’s not competing, Chris enjoys playing padel and watching Newcastle United. He also follows motorsports, specifically Formula 1 and Formula E, where he follows Aston Martin and Jaguar.
A fun fact about our new team member is that as part of his University Rugby League team, they were invited on ‘You Are What You Eat’ and in the opening credits – Gillian McKeith shouted at him during a drill!
In his new role as a Sage 200 Support Consultant at PKF SCS, Chris is looking forward to working with Sage 200 again, but also hoping to gain further experience with Sage Intacct as it continues to grow.
