The second Sage CRM release of 2025 is officially here and in this article, we highlight the key announcements you should know about.
What’s New?
Enhanced exchange online integration
In this new release, Sage have added full Microsoft Graph support, so you can now sync tasks and contacts, building on the appointment sync introduced in the last update.
Sage CRM Labs
Sage CRM Labs are designed to accelerate innovation with experimental features. These plug-and-play components are installed with Sage CRM 2025 R2 and utilise Sage CRM SDKs and metadata.
In this release, Sage CRM Labs introduces 2 brand new features. Quote templates let you create and reuse custom quote formats for faster quoting. Webhooks make it easy for you to connect Sage CRM to other systems instantly, with simple HTTP requests when you add or update records.
Modern authentication with OAuth 2.0
With this latest update, you can now configure OAuth 2.0 for Exchange Online for a simpler, more secure login and integration workflow.
Security and stability improvements
Sage continues to improve their security and stability measures across their solutions to ensure your information remains secure. In Sage CRM 2025 R2, there has been hardening of core components, API vulnerability patches, and platform upgrades for SQL Server and mobile browsers.
Additional improvements
In this release, Sage have fixed customer reported issues,. This includes better case list access, improved Mailchimp merge tag handling, and more reliable appointment syncing.
Additionally, legacy features (such as classic dashboards) have been deprecated. This means they are no longer being enhanced or maintained and may pose potential security vulnerabilities if left active. Instead, Sage have added stronger support for modern operating systems and browsers.
