Our Sage Developer, Mark McMenamie designed a mass conversion tool for our Sage Intacct client. The tool has helped them to automate their dispatching and invoicing process, eliminating manual work.

The Client & Challenge
Our client operates an accreditation body which enables members to demonstrate competence within their field. Alongside the membership scheme, they also have an online shop where they sell physical items and digital downloads.
Prior to this project, the warehouse staff had to manually export a dispatch list daily, which the office staff then processed to mark orders as dispatched and generate Sales Invoices. This manual process was time-consuming and prone to errors. The client needed a way to automate this process so they could save time and prevent mistakes.
Old Process
The Solution
We recommended a mass conversion tool which automatically updates the orders as ready to invoice when the warehouse operative marks the items as dispatched. This tool also enables the office staff to convert them to Sales Invoices in bulk, significantly reducing manual work.
Mark built the tool bespoke for their needs and we worked with them to implement it with their existing systems.
New Process
As a result, the dispatching and invoicing process has been cut in half. There’s virtually no room for human error and the new process takes up less time, enabling them to get invoices out to customers faster.
