Sage Intelligent Time is an AI-powered timesheet built directly into Sage Intacct
Sage Intelligent Time provides each member of your team with an AI-powered time assistant that suggests time entry cards based on that employee’s calendar, emails and other activities.

In this article, we answer the most asked questions surrounding Sage Intelligent Time (SIT), including what the feature does and how it differs from traditional timesheets.
What does Sage Intelligent Time do?
Sage Intelligent Time is a helpful feature built directly into Sage Intacct which uses AI to gather information for time entry, working across calendar, email and desktop applications to gather every invoiceable or reimbursable minute.
Who is Sage Intelligent Time best suited for?
Although the feature is useful for anyone who regularly needs to track timesheets, it’s best suited to project-based business, for example, those working in Professional Services or Not-For-Profit (NFP) organisations.
How is it different from timesheets we use now?
Sage Intelligent Time improves on traditional timesheets in many ways, including continuous insight and that it is always in sync. With traditional timesheets, the data is only available at weekly or bi-weekly intervals and even then it’s often delayed. But SIT gives you continuous insights, meaning your processes aren’t slowed down.
Additionally, traditional timesheets aren’t easy to connect with third party apps, meaning they can’t be scaled up easily. This isn’t a problem with SIT as timesheets are always in sync and reconciled with your financials.
What do I need to use it?
To use the feature, you must have purchased one of the following modules in Sage Intacct:
- Project Costing and Billing
- Project Costing
- Grant Tracking and Billing
- Plus at least Web Services (Standard)
