Who is HTRAK?
HTRAK provides mobile point of care systems and software solutions to the Healthcare industry. Their systems are designed to connect the clinical with the business and administrative functions of hospitals. The company became a PKF SCS customer during our acquisition of Uniq Systems, their former Sage provider, in 2018. HTRAK have now been using Sage 200 Professional for over 10 years, with the PKF SCS support team providing them day-to-day support for the last 7 years.
Our approach
HTRAK’s previous accounting software was TAS books, an old Sage product that worked well for the company when they first started, but they quickly outgrew this system, creating the need to switch to a system that could handle their growing business demands. Sage 200 Professional was the perfect fit.
Their Sage 200 Professional system was installed by Uniqu Systems, but following our acquisition of the company, HTRAK had the decision whether to stay with us or move to a different Sage provider.
Clare Griffiths, Finance and Admin Manager at HTRAK, described the original installation from Graham Bayley of Uniqu Systems as “incredible hands-on and involved in ensuring the team understood their new system”. When considering staying with PKF SCS following the acquisition, that same hands-on approach was a key consideration.
Our PKF SCS support team offer year-end assistance to all customers, a service that Clare regularly utilises and appreciates. After losing a company in the past, she has since been cautious about repeating the mistake. However, as part of our year-end assistance, the support team provided Clare with a company back up. This back up gave Clare the security and “safety net” she needed to conduct the year-end with ease.
Clare shared “The PKF Support team are very helpful and patient when queries are raised. They work through Year End processes with me, allowing me to understand exactly what is happening as we go.”
This timely and stress-free support is down to our use of remote desktop software. This allows our team to see HTRAK’s Sage 200 system first-hand and easily diagnose problems. It is this ease of service and expert knowledge that means Clare and HTRAK continue to feel secure with us.
The result
HTRAK chose to stay with us and have been pleased with the level and standard of support we provide for them and their Sage 200 Professional system.
Clare shared that her reasoning for staying with PKF SCS was because “help was there when we needed it. Never a long delay, even when the server died. The support team were fantastic in pulling up old back up and getting back up and running”.
Alongside this, Clare finds our additional support resources helpful. When discussing our Support Webinars Clare mentioned “Although I have worked through the processes previously, the webinars allow me to stay up to date with any changes that may have occurred.”
