Sicon Manufacturing Works Orders Drill Through

Sicon Manufacturing’s drill through functionality gives you quick access to lots of information and various processing options within one place.

This is useful when you’re in the Works Order Screen, as you don’t need to leave the screen to view component or finished item details.

In this tip of the week, we’ll show you the drill through functionality in the works order screen.

(Click to expand the images for easier viewing.)

To use the drill down functionality, right click on the stock item to view stock item balances, details, history and movements.

Right clicking a component also allows you to change the columns displayed on the works order. For example, you can show free stock & stock on order, units of measure and component costs.

To view alternate items set against the stock item, right click the stock item and hover over Alternate Items. Selecting the item replaces the component on the works order.

If the component selected is a batch or traceable item, right clicking it displays an option called Allocated to Batches to identify which traceable items have been used within the build.
