Identifying accounts that haven’t been allocated to an account group in Sage Intacct
When you’re reconciling your accounts, you might find that your accounts don’t reconcile. One of the main reasons for this is missing account groups or having accounts which aren’t allocated to a group.
Using the flip view on account groups is handy to find missing accounts quickly and easily.
Click to expand the images for easier viewing.
First, navigate to:
Reports > Setup > Account groups
Here you’ll see all the different account groups available to you.
To find any missing accounts, select the Flip view button.
This will show you all your accounts and which account group they’ve been allocated to.
In the example, if you look at account number 10100, the account group name is blank.
Finally, we’d add the account to a specific account group, so we can reconcile it.
