PKF SCS Hosts Successful “Digital Transformation with Sage Intacct” Virtual Event

Last week, we held our “Digital Transformation with Sage Intacct” Virtual Event in conjunction with Sage UKI and PKF Littlejohn.

This virtual event provided a great opportunity for us to connect with potential new customers as well as some existing customers.

The theme of the virtual event was “digital transformation with Sage Intacct“; helping attendees understand what this was, and how software like Sage Intacct could help them achieve it.

The event started with a brief introduction from our Managing Director, Chris Smith, before Sam Pidgeon took over.

His presentation looked at digital transformation from the perspective of finance leaders. He highlighted the need for finance leaders to be more data-driven – a change which Sage Intacct can drive across industries.

Jonathan Denton from Sage UKI then continued with a demonstration of Sage Intacct. He showed off its user-friendly interface, and the ways it can help businesses collaborate and gain real, actionable insight from their data.

The last panellist session of the day was helmed by Phil Broadbery from PKF Littlejohn. Having learned about the theory of digital transformation, attendees were now able to hear about it being put into practice. Phil talked about how PKF Littlejohn’s pre-existing use of Office 365 was built upon using APIs to improve processes.

The event finished on a high with an interactive Q&A session.

Our MD Chris Smith said: “Since joining the PKF network last year, this was our first customer event working directly with our friends and colleagues at PKF Littlejohn. It was great to have Phil working with us, providing a different voice and a different thread to our normal Sage lead presentations, which hopefully added real business value to all the attendees. I am really looking forward to working forward to providing further joint presentations with the wider PKF network moving forward.“

Our Senior Solutions Consultant Sam Pidgeon said: “It was great to have another opportunity to spread the word about Sage Intacct – which I have no doubt is fast becoming Sage’s flagship solution. At PKFSCS we see the momentum behind it building, as more and more of our customers start to see the benefit of the flexibility and deep functionality Intacct brings to the table. This event was slightly different for us, working with Jonathan from Sage and Phil from PKF LJ – who delivered some great non-finance related digitisation content. The challenge for us was to keep it interesting, with continuity, a good flow and provide valuable content for everyone – which I think we did!“
