PKF Smith Cooper Systems welcomes Mark Torrington as a Sage 200 Support Consultant.
Prior to joining PKF SCS, Mark’s career included plenty of experience with IT in general and Sage specifically. He began his career by progressing from Project Trainee to Project Supervisor within 5 years and went on to work for a different company as a Production & Systems Support Engineer. His most recent role, similar to his newest, was as a Sage Support Consultant.
When it comes to his work, Mark has a deep appreciation for Sage, saying:
“I really like the brand and the software. Having used it as an end user, I quickly became in-house support for the software which made me want to do it full-time. I love being able to solve problems for clients.”
In working at PKF SCS, Mark also says he’s looking forward to working with a large team and having the opportunity to grow and progress in his career.
When he’s not working, Mark loves going to sporting events and concerts. He’s also a talented audio producer, mixing and producing audio at home as well as for some wedding bands.
And as a final fun fact: for 7 years, Mark was part of Ireland’s Under 25 Lawn Bowls Team – playing across the whole of the UK and Ireland!
