PKF Smith Cooper Systems Celebrates Their 2024 Achievements

2024 has been an amazing year for our business, and we want to share the success we’ve had in this year-end overview! 

From celebrating our 10-year anniversary, to being awarded the Sage UKI BMS Partner of the Year 2024, this has been a year of milestones and success for our business. Let’s take a look at our biggest achievements of the year!

Awards

2023 was a remarkable year for PKF SCS, winning the Sage Customer Success Partner of the Year. In 2024, we continued to reach new heights. At the Sage FY25 Partner Kick Off, we were awarded the Sage UKI BMS Partner of the Year 2024! This award covers Sage’s range of ERP products, including Sage 200. It recognises PKF SCS as the best partner in the UKI Sage Business Partner Network for providing and supporting customers with their Business Management System (BMS). We are incredibly proud of our team for winning another prestigious award from Sage for the second year running!

Growth

With 19 hires to the team across all departments, including Support, Consultancy, Project Management, Development and Marketing, PKF Smith Cooper Systems have continued to expand their staff (and we do not plan to stop!). The Sage Partner Academy continues to deliver outstanding work, and our team greatly benefits from their expertise.

Continuing the topic of expansion, 2024 has again been a year of organic financial growth for the business. As we enter our final quarter of the fiscal year, we’re projecting a minimum increase of 15% compared to 2023. The fact that this is pure, organic growth, with no acquisitions, makes the performance of our team even more impressive

Product Development

Alongside our own successes, we continue to work very closely with Sage on the development of their new cloud native SDMO (Sage Distribution and Manufacturing Operations) product, formally known as Sage Intacct Manufacturing. Sage invited our Technical Director, Richard Brewster, and Sage 200 Consultant, Mike Henderson, to Paris. They met the Development Team, shared their expertise, and reviewed the progress of SDMO.

Richard shared: “It was a great insight into the architecture of SDMO and where the product is going. It’s clear that Sage are keen to ensure the core functionality is built into the system at this early stage. Once embedded in the database, this functionality can then be expanded without the need to create work arounds, as we’ve seen with Sage 200 and third party add-ons that are hamstrung by the core Sage 200 database schema“.

Already recognised as a leading provider of Sage 200 Manufacturing solutions, bringing SDMO into our portfolio is an exciting prospect. Being the first Sage Business Partner to sell SDMO in the UK was a great start. We now look forward to rolling out the impressive SDMO roadmap in 2025! 

10-Year Anniversary

Finally, 2024 marked PKF Smith Cooper Systems 10-year anniversary. To commemorate 10 years in business, we organised various activities throughout the year for staff, customers and suppliers. In October, we hosted a staff celebration party at Pride Park Stadium in Derby. We also distributed gifts to all employees, and other surprises for clients and suppliers.

Since we began trading as our own separate legal entity in 2014, we’ve been proudly at the forefront of the Sage accounting software market. We provide the solutions you need with the service you deserve – making us the “Good Sage Guys To Deal With”. We are proud to have an exceptional team and we are excited to see what the next 10 years bring!

As you would expect, we have lots planned for 2025, starting with our biggest customer facing event to date in the shape of our Sage Symposium in February. I very much look forward to seeing what we will achieve next”
