Sage 200 is a best of breed business system for the UKI SME market.
However, when the time comes to integrate Sage 200 with other platforms or systems (e.g. ecommerce, customer/supplier portals or maybe a line of business commercial system), PKF Smith Cooper Systems can offer you two API tools: MRGE and WIRE.
Created by our in-house development team, both tools are based on a reliable and proven core platform, the difference lies in their distinct features appropriate for specific application areas. Since their creation, the PKF Smith Cooper Systems team have integrated Sage 200 with many different platforms and applications using MRGE and WIRE.

Is a Sage 200 API or integration right for you?
A Sage 200 API or integration is ideal for businesses that:
- Use an e-commerce website or business model

MRGE
MRGE is used where a third-party or in house developer wishes to perform the integration.
A typical example would be a web developer who wishes to post transactions to Sage 200 and pull back delivery or stock information or an in-house team wanting to integrate their own platforms to Sage 200.
In this instance, minimal time is required from our team. They’ll simply deploy the solution and assist with testing as required. This, along with one single monthly cost, provides a much lower price point of entry compared to traditional bespoke development.
WIRE
WIRE is used where there is no third-party developer working with our client.
In this case, the PKF Smith Cooper team will either deploy an existing connector or build out a new one.
Examples of work we have previously provided include Shopify, WooCommerce, eBay, Amazon, DPD, Metapack, and DX courier, plus several portals for well-known wholesalers.
WIRE can be configured without additional coding and runs on a pre-defined schedule to import and export data. This makes it easy to use straight out of the box.

Does Sage 200 have an API?
Yes, Sage 200 has had its own API since 2018. However, the initial scope of the connections was limited and not appropriate for many integration scenarios. That’s why we’ve built our own APIs, WIRE and MRGE, which serve a wide range of integration needs.

Does Salesforce integrate with Sage 200 and Sage 50?
Whilst there are no standard connectors for Sage 200 and Salesforce, there a large marketplace of third party integration tools available. PKF Smith Cooper Systems has worked with Salesforce partners on numerous occasions to achieve Salesforce integrations to Sage 200 and would be delighted to discuss your project with you.

Does Sage CRM integrate with Sage 200 and Sage 50?
Yes, you can integrate Sage CRM to Sage 500 using QNECT200. This is a proven third party add-on accredited by Sage as their integration of choice. There’s also QNECT50 for Sage 50 and Sage CRM integrations. We have a dedicated CRM team who supply, install and implement Sage CRM and Qnect.

Does Sage 200 integrate with Magento?
Magento integrations are probably the most common integration requested by our Sage 200 customers and we have vast experience utilising our own APIs, WIRE and MRGE. No Magento integration is exactly the same, as every client’s website is unique to them. However, the core principles are the same and we have the majority of the end points good to go.

Does Sage 200 integrate with Amazon?
Yes, we can integrate your Sage 200 to Amazon using our API. This allows two-way integration supporting both Sales Orders coming into the system, as well as Stock levels going up to Amazon. Another popular method is to pass Amazon and eBay orders through one integration tool and make a single connection to Sage. Linnworks is an eCommerce platform that helps online retailers automate key processes by utilising multi-channel integrations. It has integrations out of the box for eBay, Amazon, Magento, Shopify plus more. We have seen several of our Sage customers utilise this software in the last few years and have an established relationship with a Linnworks partner.

Does Sage 200 integrate with Sage Payroll?
Yes, Sage Payroll has integration with Sage 200 out of the box which works in the same way as the Sage 50 connection.
