Sage Copilot is Coming Soon to Sage Intacct!

Take a First Look at Sage Copilot

Sage has been working away at their own generative AI-powered productivity assistant, Sage Copilot, which they’re steadily rolling out to lend a hand to more and more finance teams.

At the Sage Partner Kickoff event in November, it was announced to the partner community that Sage Intacct users will be next to see Sage Copilot on their screens.

Copilot isn’t widely available yet, but to keep you in the loop, we’ll share what we know about it so far.

Sage Copilot

Sage Copilot is designed to sit within the Sage platform and support finance teams by taking away some of the load so they can focus on more valuable strategic tasks. Almost like an airline co-pilot, Sage Copilot will be by your side to follow commands and help take your business to new heights.

Copilot is currently only available through an Early Adopter Program, where a select few Sage Intacct customers have early access in return for feedback. Sage is focused on customer participation and feedback, with many of the features being based off conversations with real customers. Once it’s ready for general release, all Sage Intacct users should be able to get their hands on it.

Sage plans to expand the functionalities over time, but for now, Copilot will cover 2 areas for Sage Intacct:

Variance Analysis

Sage Copilot will use Variance Analysis to keep an eye out for budget variances, delivering alerts and insights which provide a real-time view of how your budgets are performing. The graphs and reports generated are easy to understand and allow you to drill down to identify the root cause. This will cut down on the time it takes to check for budget variances and help you address spending concerns.

Search Help

When you’re using a system as extensive as Sage Intacct, it can be difficult to remember how to do everything. That’s where Search Help comes in handy! Users will be able to ask Copilot questions about the system and get a quick answer that’s easy to understand. This reduces the time it would take to research or contact support, so users don’t have to disrupt their day looking for answers.

The announcement has created a buzz in our Intacct team, and we’re very excited to see Sage Copilot in action soon. We asked our Sage Intacct Product Lead, Sam Pidgeon to share his thoughts:

“We’ve seen generative AI functions creeping into Sage Intacct over the past couple of years through GL Outlier Detection, Intelligent Time and AP Automation. Co-Pilot is another big step for Sage along this journey with huge potential, I’ve no doubt it will help customers make quicker decisions, save time, and drive growth – I’m intrigued to see see how it evolves – watch this space!“
