In the October 2025 release of Sage 200 Professional (2025 R2), Sage announced the removal of the Sage 200 Manufacturing module from Sage 200.
Sage 200 Manufacturing was the main manufacturing solution for a number of years. However, in 2020, Sage announced their intention to gradually retire the module and partner with Sicon to develop their manufacturing module.
Sage recommends looking for an alternative manufacturing solution to avoid potential issues, such as bugs, security vulnerabilities or incompatibility with future Windows updates.

Richard has over 34 years of experience working with Sage and specialises in manufacturing. He was even trained in Sage 50 Manufacturing alongside Sage’s team members in the early 2000’s and was invited by Sage to help test and develop SDMO, due to his level of knowledge and experience.
