Running over two weeks, this course equips you with everything you need to understand the Sage 200 Commercials module, in both Sales Order Processing (SOP) and Purchase Order Processing (POP).

With sessions ran by our in-house Sage 200 experts, the two weeks will be split into SOP and POP – so you can choose to attend one week or both depending on your role.

  • SOP Week: 29th June – 3rd July
  • POP Week: 13th July – 17th July

Who Should Attend?

Providing a general and well-rounded understanding the Sage 200 Sales Order and Purchase Order Processing modules, we have designed this course to suit Sage 200 Professional users who require a refresher on their usage of the system as well as inexperienced users.

Given the nature of the modules, this course is best suited for staff within Procurement, Operations or Warehouse departments of a business. Plus anyone who wants to understand more about how the system works, such as Managers, MDs or Customer Service teams.

Course 1: Sales Order Processing (SOP), 29th June – 3rd July

  • Monday
    • Order Creation: The Sales order process, Sales order list, and new order tabs 
  • Tuesday
    • Order Processing: Amending, and Dispatching stock – How SOP Integrates with Other Modules 
  • Wednesday
    • Quotations, Proformas and Sales Returns/Credits & Allocating Credit to Invoice 
  • Thursday
    • SOP Maintenance: Additional charges, Order Items, Delivery addresses, Payment Methods  
  • Friday
    • SOP Settings: Analysis codes, user permissions and an overview of system settings 

Course 2: Purchase Order Processing (POP), 13th July – 17th July

  • Monday
    • Order Creation: The Purchase order process, Purchase order list, and new order tabs 
  • Tuesday
    • Order Processing: How to process an order, personal settings, confirm/amend goods received, and post/record an invoice 
  • Wednesday
    • Purchase Requisitions & POP Maintenance: What it is, additional charges, analysis codes, write incomplete orders and returns, and an overview of system settings 
  • Thursday
    • POP Authorisation, PO Notifications, Returns and Credit Notes 
  • Friday
    • Stock with POP: How to add, transfer, and write off stock 


Key Information

Your Investment
  • One course (either SOP or POP) – £375 +VAT
  • Both courses – £650 +VAT

As part of this cost, up to 3 people per company can attend each course. This means that 6 people from one company can take part in the course over the 2 weeks.

Additional Information
  • Sign up will close at 17:00 on 29th May, 2026
  • Each session will present an in-depth, pre-recorded, training video, followed by an interactive discussion with a member of our support or consultancy team.
  • The session duration will vary depending on the daily content, but it will not exceed 2 hours.

  • At the end of the course, you will be given a course certificate.**
