It’s time to conquer commercials!
Following the success of our Sage 200 Financials course, it’s time to launch our next general Sage 200 training course, this one is all about commercials (Sales Order Processing (SOP) and Purchase Order Processing (POP))!
Running over two separate weeks, our Sage 200 Commercials training course equips you with everything you need to understand Sage 200 Commercials, in both Sales Order Processing (SOP) and Purchase Order Processing (POP).
The time will be split into dedicated SOP and POP weeks, so you can choose whether to attend both weeks or one depending on your business and team needs. With sessions ran by our in-house Sage 200 experts, you can be sure you’ll get the highest quality training whatever path you choose.
- SOP Week: 12th to 16th May 2025
- POP Week: 2nd to 6th June 2025
Key Information
- Session layout
- Like our financials course, each session presents an in-depth, pre-recorded, overview video, followed by an interactive discussion with a member of our support or consultancy team.
- While the session duration will vary depending on the daily content, the sessions will not exceed 2 hours. This allocation includes time for polls, quizzes and an interactive live question and answer where you can pick the brains of our experts.
- This layout allows our course to easily slot into your week so that your business doesn’t have to stop just because you’re training.
- Costs
- 1 week (either SOP or POP week) – £350+VAT
- Both weeks (SOP and POP) – £600+VAT
- The PKF SCS Finance team will invoice this before the course commences.*
Please note that this is an introductory rate – when this course is run again, the price will have been increased. We hope to hear constructive feedback of your experience of this course. A feedback form will be sent out post-course.
- Joining and attendance terms
- 3 people per company, per week can attend the course. So if you are joining us for both weeks, you are entitled to have 6 different staff members join.
- So if you are participating for 1 week, you are entitled to have 3 members of staff join.
Additional Information:
- This is a general course for Sage 200 Professional (please do not sign up if you use Sage 200 Standard or Sage Intacct), if you need additional support related to your business, then please contact your Account Manager.
- All course attendees from the same company must register individually.
- Once you have signed up, please keep hold of your GoTo confirmation email as you will use this email to access the training each day.
- Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- At the end of the course, you will be given a course certificate.**

Here is a brief overview of the course schedule, a confirmation of the agenda will be emailed to all registrants prior to the course starting.
Week 1: SOP Week
- Monday – Order Creation: The Sales order process, Sales order list, and new order tabs
- Tuesday – Order Processing: Amending, and Despatching stock – How SOP Integrates with Other Modules
- Wednesday – Quotations, Proformas and Sales Returns/Credits & Allocating Credit to Invoice
- Thursday – SOP Maintenance: Additional charges, Order Items, Delivery addresses, Payment Methods
- Friday – SOP Settings: Analysis codes, user permissions and an overview of system settings
Week 2: POP Week
- Monday – Order Creation: The Purchase order process, Purchase order list, and new order tabs
- Tuesday – Order Processing: How to process an order, personal settings, confirm/amend goods received, and post/record an invoice
- Wednesday – Purchase Requisitions & POP Maintenance: What it is, additional charges, analysis codes, write incomplete orders and returns, and an overview of system settings
- Thursday – POP Authorisation, PO Notifications, Returns and Credit Notes
- Friday – Stock with POP: How to add, transfer, and write off stock
