Company

B.J.Waters Transport is a group of 2 companies comprising B.J.Waters (Transport) Limited and Geo.Siddall (Transport) Limited. They’re a family run haulage company with depots in Matlock and Ripley, providing transportation services throughout the UK and Europe.

Prior to implementing Sage Intacct, B.J.Waters Transport relied on the finance module within their transport management software solution to manage their finances. As their existing system would continue to be used for their day-to-day operations, reliable integration between the two systems was essential to ensure everything would continue to run smoothly.

Product

As a group of 2 companies operating from multiple locations, B.J.Waters Transport decided that Sage Intacct was the best solution for them because it is based in the cloud and therefore easily accessible across the business.

Furthermore, Intacct’s multi-entity and detailed reporting features allow them to easily manage both companies in one place, automate reporting and provide full visibility across the business at Group, Company and Depot level.

Intacct can also bring many other benefits to their business including the automation of manual tasks to help save time. Project

B.J.Waters Transport chose to work with us as we’re a local Sage Partner and offered a flexible approach to delivering the project. From the outset, we took the time to get to know their business’ needs and clearly defined the project milestones and deliverables. We also worked with their transport management system provider to integrate Sage Intacct with their existing system.

Our Sage Intacct Consultants, Haris Naeem and Ian Barbour worked closely with B.J.Waters Transport to ensure the system fit their exact requirements. When asked how they found the experience, Chris explained “[We were] allocated an implementation consultant who had excellent product knowledge and a good understanding of business processes.”

Chris also commented “Despite a remote implementation model there was regular access to the implementation consultant to track project progress, discuss issues/problems and identify resolutions.”

The Result
