What is the Sage Migration Process like?
The PKF Smith Cooper Systems Sage Migration Process is simple: plan, implement, test, deploy, support.
Planning Phase
Essential to establish timings, responsibilities, key areas for focus, data requirements and to ultimately produce a plan for all parties to work with.
Implementation, Training and Testing Phase
This phase is all about the people, yours and ours.
A new system can cause concern and uncertainty for your staff. So, we run thorough tests and training with your staff to ensure a successful implementation.
We also take this opportunity to foster an environment where your users are comfortable and confident in working alongside our consultancy team and support desk.
Deployment Phase
During the deployment, or ‘Go Live’, our consultants are onsite for the physical live migration and then on hand to help users for the first few days of use.
Support Phase
Finally, it’s over to our award-winning support team. After ‘Go Live’, you get access to our full team of highly-skilled support consultants – with technical knowledge and experience of Sage 200 and Sage Intacct to approved third-party systems, like Sicon and Draycir, you are in the best hands.
Migrating to a different Sage product
If you're migrating from Sage 50, you have the choice of options...
You can migrate all your data, including all historical transactions from any chosen point in time. Or, take the opportunity to “start again” with a clean dataset, removing old stock items, customers or restructuring the nominal ledger.
