One of the handy widgets in the Year End Functions Dashboard is the Closed Thru Summary.
The Closed Thru Summary Widget is a useful tool for completing your year end.
The widget helps you to keep track of all your periods at a glance, highlighting what still needs to be closed. In this Tip of the Week, we will show you where to find the Closed Thru Summary and how it works.

To find the Closed Thru Summary, navigate to:
Dashboards > Year End Functions
In this example, we have 2 different Closed Thru Summaries, 1 sorted by ledger and 1 sorted by entity.
When you click on one of the links, it takes you to a screen like this. From here, you can update your closing periods.
