The PKF SCS Staged Payments module is a powerful add-on for Sage 200 Professional that enables your business to manage sales orders with flexible, staged payment schedules.  

The latest Stage Payments release is here, and in this article, we explore the new features and enhancements you should know about. 

What’s New?

• Staged Payments Enquiry Screen

There is now a brand-new screen with a single view of all related Staged Payment orders and posted invoices. 

• Invoice Due Dates

In this release, the Stage Payments module has added functionality to use the invoice date at the due date.

This can be configured for some or all the sales order types, including invoices for Main Staged Payment Orders, Staged Payment Orders and Non-Staged Payment Orders. 

• Payment Reference

Where a Payment is recorded against a Staged Payment, the Payment Reference will default to being the Payment Method. This can be amended if required. 

• Nominal Code Amendment

Nominal codes amendment for Staged Payment Lines is now dependant on the standard Sage 200 SOP setting for Nominal amendment,. This means this is in line with the core set up. 

• Reporting Data Model

In this release, a data model has been included to make all Staged Payment tables and fields available within the report designer.

This allows for bespoke reporting and layout amendments to be possible, such as the below examples: 

Resolved Issues

• It is no longer possible to select the core Sage 200 option ‘Invoice Order Immediately’ on the Payment with Order tab, when amending a Staged Payment Order. 
• Requirements have been removed to enable SOP Setting ‘Allow Amendment of Analysis Codes’ for Order Lines. Allow amendment of Order Headers is still a requirement.  
• The ‘Online’ Payment Method is no longer visible for Staged Payments. 
• The Staged Payment Nominal Code is now being posted to for Staged Payment lines.
