  • PKF Smith Cooper Systems celebrates its 10 Year Anniversary!

2023

  • Expansion within the company continues as we grow to over 50 employees across all our offices.
  • WIRE and MRGE, our AP solutions, are officially launched!
  • We were the first Sage partner in the country to sell their new product, SDMO.
  • Awarded Sage’s UKI Customer Success Partner of the Year 2023 at their FY24 Partner Summit in Telford. At the same event, we were nominated for both Overall Partner of the Year and UKI BMS Partner of the Year.

2022

  • PKF Smith Cooper System launches groundbreaking generic Sage 200 Financials Training Course.
  • 20% year-on-year growth and consolidating position as a Top 3 Sage 200 Business Partner.
  • PKF Smith Cooper Systems moves their Derby Head Office to prestige location in the heart of Pride Park. The modern new space includes a gym, multiple breakout areas and several spacious meeting rooms – further affirming the company’s drive to provide expert Sage software support to businesses across the country.

2021

  • PKF Smith Cooper doubles office space in Newcastle to accommodate growing team.
  • PKF Smith Cooper System Partners acquires Bailey Business Systems, based in Cambridge, bringing on 2 new staff members and a significant client base.
  • Smith Cooper System Partners acquires Cellular Solutions Business Systems, based in Sunderland, brining on 4 new staff members and a significant client base.

2020

  • Sicon Partner of the Year!
  • PKF SCS launches its YouTube channel, Smith Cooper Systems TV, full of software tutorials and informative videos.
  • SCS launches a new website and brand image.
  • Top 3 Sage Partner at Sage’s Annual Event.
  • PKF Smith Cooper Systems becomes an Accredited Sage Intacct Partner.
  • Appointed first Head of Client Services and form dedicated Account Management team.

2019

  • Painellgilcoe Partner of the Year!
  • PKF Smith Cooper Systems acquires Sage customer base of Hampshire Business Computers.
  • PKF SCS awarded Top 3 Partner award by Sicon.
  • PKF SCS retains Midlands Sage Partner of the Year award for the 5th year running and retains #2 position in the UK for Sage 200.

2018

  • PKF Smith Cooper rewarded for outstanding Sales performance with dinner at The Shard with Sage Global CEO Stephen Kelly.
  • PKF Smith Cooper doubles office space at Derby HQ as part of an office refit.
  • PKF Smith Cooper opens Newcastle Office in Gateshead.
  • PKF Smith Cooper Systems retains Midlands Sage Partner of the Year award for the 4th year in succession and finishes 2nd in the UK for Core Sage 200 Product.
  • PKF Smith Cooper Systems again achieves record turnover and 50% increase on previous trading year.

2017

  • Record turnover and 50% increase on previous year.
  • Smith Cooper System Partners expands into Southern region and opens London office based in Embankment.
  • SCSP acquires Uniq Systems, based in Reading, bringing in significant client base and 6 new staff members.
  • Smith Cooper retains Midlands Sage Partner of the Year award.
  • Richard Torr, one of the most experienced Sage 200 Sales professionals in the UK, joins Midlands team.
  • Sam Pidgeon joins team to head up Southern Region.

2016

  • Smith Cooper retains Midlands Sage Partner of the Year award at official presentation at Sage Gateshead.
  • Smith Cooper is one of a select group of UK Partners to attend the Global Sage Summit in Chicago.
  • Smith Cooper appoints Michael Kenney as Head of New Development department, bringing 30 years of Sage experience.

2015

  • Smith Cooper wins Midlands Sage Partner of the Year in the first year of trading.

2014

  • Smith Cooper System Partners is born!
  • Chris Smith and Richard Brewster are appointed as Directors to run the business on a day-to-day basis.
