Sage have just released the latest version of Sage 200 Professional, Sage 200 2022 R1. This update provides customers with new web screen functionality as well as more new features to support the sales processes.

Recently this feedback has been around simplifying business processes to increase efficiency. So, within Sage 200 2022 R1, Sage set out to improve the customer experience with greater flexibility of access and to enhance productivity.
These customer requests also feed into Sage’s three strategic pillars (Web enabling the Sage 200 client, Strengthening the core accounting functionality and API development and Vertical specific propositions). Improved efficiency and account management
The new Sales Order updates let you review more information on your sales orders, see your order line-item discount values.
This lets you view previously applied discounts, direct from the order, to better support your customer conversations. Thus demonstrating to your customer’s that you know their business for true relationship management.
Boost every sale with a personalised customer experience
This version features the introduction of cross sell, suggested items and alternative items for quotes, direct from the new web screens. With personalised quotes, you can show your customers that you know their business and increase your opportunity.

Print Sales Orders & Quotes from Web Screens
Improve your sales & quote process, never miss an opportunity and communicate better with your customers.
Within the web screens you can now create an attachment to send via email, print your newly created sales orders and quotes direct to your customers.
By maximising the web screens you can raise a quote/order and print or send an email to customers at any time, no matter where you are. There is no need to wait till you get back into the office and no risk of forgetting to press ‘send’
Web Screen Preferences
Enhance your productivity with a customised view of day-to-day data aligned to your processes.
Ability to remove, re-order columns and remember selection – works on a per user and per company basis.
Now you can customize web forms to see the data and information relevant to your role while saving your ‘view’ to ensure day-to-day you can access Sage 200, set up to optimise your working day.
Expanded API fields

Compatibility of operating systems and platforms to address to update in line with 3rd party vendor support
Sage understands how important it is to adapt and update Sage 200 to ensure and maintain the latest security protocols and user experience. In response to Microsoft’s announcements on changes to their supported platforms, Sage will be retiring the following supported platforms; Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 11 from this release onwards. With this release, Sage 200 will be adding Windows 11 to their supported platforms and removing the reliance on Internet Explorer.
