PKF Smith Cooper Systems, an award-winning Sage Business Partner based in Derby, continued to grow its team over the last few months with five new starters.
Garry Wallace, Claire Forrow, Jordan Hunter, Jessica Allen and Thomas Spring join the company to work across various departments, including Support, Consultancy, Accounts, and Marketing.
Most of these roles are completely new – having been created so the company can continue to deliver outstanding support and service to current and new customers!
So, let’s meet some of the new faces joining us:
Joining the Support Team:
Garry Wallace comes to PKF Smith Cooper Systems from another Sage Business Partner, with a background in Sales for the construction and engineering industries. He was also part of the second cohort of the Sage Partner Academy. He will be joining the Support team as a Sage 200 Support Consultant.
Joining the Accounts Team:
Claire Forrow joins as a new Accounts and Contracts Administrator. Previous to working for PKF Smith Cooper Systems, Claire worked for Toyota Material Handling in their contracts and renewals department, and spent 13 years working for Buck as a pensions administrator and consultant.
Joining the Support Team:
Jordan Hunter is another new addition to the Support team, as a Sage 200 Support Consultant. Though his career began in social media, he became a trainee Sage 200 Support Consultant at another Sage Business Partner company. Here, like Garry, he was invited to be a part of the second cohort for the Sage Partner Academy.
Joining the Marketing Team:
Jessica Allen joins as a Marketing & Content Assistant, expanding the company’s Marketing Team. She started her career as an apprentice at a digital marketing agency, and has also worked as a Marketing Executive and, most recently, a Sales Administrator.
Joining the Sales Team:
Thomas Spring is our newest Sage 200 Account Manager. He previously worked for Kerridge Commercial Systems as an Internal Account Manager, looking after SME customers who were using one the company’s flagship products. Before moving into this role, he previously worked in marketing with a focus on lead generation.
Managing Director, Chris Smith, shared his thoughts on the team growth so far this year:
“This quarter has been a very busy one for us with five new starters joining and three more pending, the majority of which are simply additions to our team as we continue to enjoy significant growth in all areas. Whilst we are never going to apologise for our ambition, retaining our company ethos and culture is non negotiable, so it’s great that we have been able to secure so many quality individuals to help us do just that. As we move into our new fiscal year, we have again achieved over 20% growth in all areas of our business, so we have deliberately set out our recruitment strategy to ensure we hit the floor running to achieve the same, or better, this year.”
