Important Sage 200 Extra Online information – End of Life 30th September 2022
As you may already be aware, Sage regularly reviews the software and services on offer to UKI businesses, to ensure they are investing in the right solutions for all customers.
They do this to ensure that they can continue to deliver the very best innovation and support for the products within the Sage portfolio. As part of this review, and roadmap alignment to their new cloud offering for Sage 200, Sage decided to remove Sage 200 Extra Online from sale as of 1st February 2021 and then placed it into extended support from June 2021.
As a result of these actions, Sage 200 Extra Online will reach End of Life status on 30th September 2022. However, the retirement of Sage 200 Extra Online is not like normal end of life notices, whereby support ends but the software can continue to be used. The 30th September 2022 is a hard stop for the product and Sage will be switching it off on that date. Thus it is essential that all clients make arrangements for their systems in good time.
What are my options?
There are many options to choose from within the Sage medium segment portfolio, including Sage 200 Standard which now comes with the new web screens so you can automate and execute on the go using a browser of your choice, Sage 200 Professional, and Sage Intacct.
Sage has recently launched a new hosting option for Sage 200 Professional so that you are now able to host the solution in the cloud with Microsoft Azure.
