Sage 200: Subscription Communication
Sage has recently announced that they are moving to a subscription model for Sage 200 as part of their ambition, in line with the software industry at large, of becoming a true SaaS business.
To that end, with effect from Sage’s new financial year on 1st October 2019, customers will no longer be able to purchase a new Sage 200 licence on the traditional, up front, capital expenditure basis.
These Sage 200 pricing changes are not to be confused with deployment (on premise or cloud) and are simply a change to the way you pay for your Sage software.
As always, Smith Cooper haven given much thought to these changes and how we can best help our customers. So, rest assured, that moving forward there will still be a number of ways for you to purchase Sage 200, regardless of how you choose to deploy the software. These include simple monthly payments, annual in advance payments and specific deals based on a 3-year commitment.
Sage 200 up front Purchase Deal for September
If you are considering purchasing Sage 200 in the next few months and would prefer a traditional capital expenditure purchase (i.e. one-off software, annual support and maintenance and our own professional implementation services) there is still a window of opportunity to the end of this month to secure a deal on this basis.
Smith Cooper will respond by return to all enquiries by return and will ensure that all proposals of this nature are treated with the focus and urgency that they require to meet Sage’s deadline.
