Sage Training is a vital element to get the maximum value from any system. This is particularly important with financial systems as errors can often have consequences.
We are also accredited to supply and train you on associated products such as the Spindle range, Credit Hound, Panintelligence, Sicon (WAP, Manufacturing & Construction etc) and the Eureka product range.
Our training methods are tailored to suit each company’s requirements. Our training can be onsite or remote and can range from general product overview training for a group to individual training in a specific area of a particular product.
We have dedicated training rooms at all our offices (Derby, Nottingham, Reading, Newcastle & London) where users can get the most value out of their training without the distractions of a busy office.
Alternatively, we can provide training remotely or at your own premises if you have a suitable environment. Wherever possible we will provide training on your own data to provide immediate familiarity to the delegates.
Our Sage training can be booked by the half day or full day sessions. We can also provide shorter web based sessions where it is sensible and appropriate to do so.
On request, detailed training manuals with screenshots based around your data can be provided to complement the training and act as a reference guide once you are ready to go live with your Sage product.
Alongside our training courses, we have a whole host of Sage resources that are available to view. All of our resources have been carefully constructed with the Sage user in mind as we are strong believers in giving you the tools to master your software so take a look at our video library and our tip of the week.
Please note: you don’t have to be linked to Smith Cooper to receive training on your product. We are happy to train any clients supported elsewhere and can provide competitive rates for non-supported sites.

Are there training courses for Sage 50?
Sage regularly run training courses for Sage 50. The standard nature of Sage 50 means that Sage run specific courses for multiple delegates. If you would like something more local or tailored to you then PKF Smith Cooper can help
Are there training courses for Sage 200?
Whilst some areas of Sage 200 lend themselves to generic training, the majority will be tailored to the specific client and provided by their business partner. Most clients Sage 200 systems are different and user generally find training on their own system with you own data is the best way to learn Sage 200.
Can I book remote Sage training?
Yes. In the post pandemic world most of our staff work on a hybrid basis of home and office working – our training is the same. The key to us is that clients get the most from the sessions. Sometimes traditional onsite it best but some clients now prefer online training in more bitesize chunks. We can provide both.
Can I teach myself Sage?
You can to a degree. All Sage software now includes comprehensive help and user manuals within the product (including screenshots). If you have used Sage before, then you can certainly do some self learning and this will help. However if you are new to Sage then it is definitely a good idea to book some training.
Are Sage training videos available?
At PKF Smith Cooper, we don’t believe in providing full product training via pre-recorded courses. However we do have an extensive library of useful Sage hints and tips on our website and YouTube channel.
