Backbone of Sage 200 Production Operations
The module provides combined stock assembly, process costing function and is directly integrated with the Stock Module.
The Bill of Materials (BOM) module is available as a standalone extension of the stock module within Sage 200 Professional. It is used by both the Sicon Manufacturing and CIM200 Manufacturing modules; forming the core product structure, operational costs and routings (machines and people) for these specific Manufacturing process modules.

Sage 200 Professional Bill of Materials is a comprehensive inventory of raw materials, assemblies, sub-assemblies, parts and components, as well as the quantities of each needed to manufacture a product. The module also has the facilities to include operational items, costs and timings such as labour and machinery.Â
While Bill of Material (BOM) module is comprehensive, if your requirement is more related to Kits, Packs and Bundles then the Sicon Kitting module is likely going to be a better solution.
Functionality at its Core
Included with in Bill of Materials is Extensive Version Control and Full Change History.
The Extensive Version control allows you to work on a prototype (checked out) model whilst the live version is still being used by the team; so operations don’t need to stop.
The Trial Kitting function allows users to quickly check the companies ability to fulfil an order and quick links to raise relevant orders. You can also manage and maintain multiple Bill of Materials quickly and easily with batch changes, e.g. amend a superseded component across your entire product range.Â
